Patrice Rullier, Managing Director Oberthur Cash Protection, elected new Chairman of EURICPA


Paris/ Brussels, 21 January 2010

Patrice Rullier was elected Chairman of EURICPA -European Intelligent Cash Protection Association- on renewal of its committe on 19 January 2010.

Creatd in April 2005 and based in Brussels, EURICPA represents the leading European manufacturers of intelligent solutions for secure cash transportation and storage.

These technologies, based on a system of neutralization of banknotes by staining, have for 25 years proved their effectiveness in protecting cash and people and contributing to a decline in crime.

"We are keen to promote the technology across Europe and pursue our work with the European Commission and the Central European Banh to harmonies cross-border cash transportation" said Patrice Rullier.

Currently Director of Oberthur Cash Protection, which he joined in May 2008, Patrice Rullier is a Graduate of the Ecole de Management de Lyon and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He previously ocuupied the positions of Managing Director and Commercial & Marketing Director in a number of high technology companies such as Lectra Systèmes, Atari, CryoNetworks and ViaMichelin.

He has a wealth of experience in international environments, giving him excellent knowledge of European markets.
